Bethany Trowers – Director, Tap, Jazz, Lyrical, & Ballet

Bethany is trained in many styles including ballet, jazz, tap, hip-hop, lyrical, and modern.  Through her years training, Bethany was a competitive dancer winning many overall high scoring and special awards for outstanding technique and stage presence, in group and solo performances.  Bethany graduated from New York University with a major in history and minor in law & society. While at NYU she was a member of the school’s step team, One Step Ahead, and Pulse Dance Project dance team, with Tisch School of the Arts.  She continues to study at Steps On Broadway, Broadway Dance Center, and numerous conventions throughout the tri-state area.  Bethany has been teaching dance for eighteen years, is Level III certified with Dance Educators of America, and her choreography has won many overall high scoring, and special awards.  Bethany is passionate about pushing her students to their highest potential and sharing her love of dance with them.

Vitaly & Olga Verterich – Ballet Instructors

Vitaly Verterich trained at the Kiev Ballet School and the Moscow Academy of Arts. After graduating, he danced solo roles in classical, folk and contemporary works with the Moscow Chamber Ballet Theatre, the Academic Ensemble “Beryozka” and often appeared as a guest with the Bolshoi and Kirov. In 1998, Vitaly was a principal dancer with the Moscow Chamber Ballet when Michael Flatley invited him to join “Riverdance.” Vitaly toured Europe, Canada and the U.S. with “Riverdance,” and performed in it on Broadway. For 10 seasons, starting in 2002, Vitaly has worked as a principal dancer at the New Jersey Ballet Company.

Along with being a classical ballet teacher, Vitaly has taught and choreographed character dance in different ballet schools and summer programs. Vitaly was a faculty teacher at VKDCNY and VKIBC, and is a credited teacher in multiple other ballet schools such as: Ellison Ballet, Joffrey Ballet, The Greenwich Ballet Academy, Broadway Dance Centre, East Street Dance Center Inc Massachusetts, and Ballet ART.

Olga Verterich trained at the Moscow Academy of Arts, and currently is a ballet teacher and a choreographer. She was a principal dancer with the Moscow Chamber Ballet, the Academic Ensemble “Beryozka,” and the St. Petersburg Dance Conservatory. Olga has toured worldwide as a guest artist. For 15 years since moving to the United States, Olga continued her career as a ballet teacher at the “Valentina Kozlova Dance Conservatory of New York.” She has also taught in multiple summer intensive programs around the United States, and has been a coordinator and ballet mistress at the “Valentina Kozlova International Ballet Competition” from 2011-2018.

Shar Adrias – HipHop Instructor

Shar has been dancing in her living room since she was 12.  She began training professionally at broadway dance center at the late age of 19.  Her stage credits include KTU’s beatstock, Ryan leslie promo tour, and the VMA’s with Ludacris.  Her choreography for music video include Jenn Cuneta and Punjabi artist G-deep featuring Capadonna of Wu Tang Clan.  She also edited numerous videos for G-Deep, including “Nach Le” as she owns her own production company as well.  She also shot and edited Japanese recording artist Jonte’s “Ya Rude.”  Shar won an award for best hip hop choreographer in Westchester.   Her 2011 piece, “numb” won best choreographer in local competition as well as nationals.
